The choice was made to use smoked walnut veneer, which, with its deep, rich tones and pronounced wood grain, brings a sense of warmth and elegance to the room. Together with the oak parquet, which was laid in the classic pattern of the Hungarian point, this veneer forms a harmonious interplay of materials and textures. The parquet adds subtle rhythm and timeless appeal, while the visual dynamism of the Hungarian point pattern gives the floor a playful and refined character.
It was also complemented by accents of Gaudi Brown natural stone, whose warm brown tones and natural veining provide a luxurious, organic touch. The combination of smoked walnut veneer, carefully laid oak parquet and rich natural stone results in an interior that exudes elegance, character and harmony, with each material contributing its own story to the overall design.
To make the upper floor more accessible and functional, the roof structure was raised. This intervention created enough space to create a generous and comfortable suite, enhancing the sense of openness and luxury. Within this suite, separate areas were designed for the bedroom and bathroom, so that both functions are fully appreciated and privacy is maintained.
The corridor connecting the bedroom and bathroom was given a special function and appearance. It is conceived as a light-rich dressing room, in which the use of natural materials and clever layouts provide overview and convenience. By adding some modern dormers, additional daylight enters the room, making it not only practical, but also radiating a pleasant, airy atmosphere. As a whole, this creates an elegant and thoughtful upper floor where comfort, light and luxury come together seamlessly.
