We are replacing the entire building envelope, interior and all technical installations. The forest on the property will be fully restored with new pioneer vegetation to enhance the natural environment. The design of the house is open-plan, with the program intriguingly arranged in split-levels. The sloping roofline is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also provides shade and privacy. This approach strikes a harmonious balance between modern living comfort and respect for the natural environment.
This project at Dam 18 in Kortrijk transforms a former villa lot into a contemporary residential development with 15 apartments, three B&B rooms, and a communal space. The freestanding structure, composed of four interlocking units, is surrounded by a green outdoor space and contributes to the further greening of Dam. The architecture combines white and green facade masonry with concrete accents and bronze-colored window and door frames, allowing the building to blend subtly into the historic and green context of Buda Island.
