The home’s classic character was deliberately highlighted and enhanced through the use of refined, timeless elements. Elegant moldings and high baseboards lend a stately appearance and emphasize the building’s original architecture. The parquet flooring, laid in a traditional herringbone pattern, contributes to this classic feel and forms a warm, authentic foundation for the interior.
This classic design language was combined with rich, high-quality materials such as walnut veneer, which, with its deep tones and luxurious appearance, adds a sense of warmth and elegance. In addition, Patagonia natural stone was chosen—a distinctive and characterful stone with unique patterns and color nuances—which gives the interior an exclusive and almost artistic appearance. The interplay of classic details and luxurious materials creates a harmonious whole in which tradition and contemporary comfort reinforce one another.
The first floor was entirely designed as a spacious master suite, comprising three interconnected rooms that together form a single harmonious whole. The bedroom, walk-in closet, and bathroom flow seamlessly into one another, creating a fluid layout and allowing the space to be experienced as a single luxurious cocoon. By enclosing the suite entirely, a secure and serene environment is created that invites rest and relaxation, separate from the rest of the home.
Just as on the ground floor, the same classic details have been consistently carried through here as well. Refined moldings, high baseboards, and carefully selected finishes reinforce the timeless character and ensure a sense of continuity throughout the interior. The shower and bath area was conceived as an architectural plinth, crafted entirely from natural stone. This plinth subtly yet clearly delineates the wet zone and gives the bathroom a sculptural, almost spa-like character, striking a perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics.
